Belgian Waffle 比利时华夫松饼

Mom dedicated to the art of waffling recently. Can't wait to get a mouthful waffles. Girls, the making of belgian waffles traditionally use yeast, but today we use a quick and easy recipe for tender waffles. May be we try to make waffles with yeast next round.近日,妈妈爱上了比利时花夫松饼的制作艺术,迫不及待想咬一口呢!孩子,传统的比利时华夫松饼用酵母,然而今天我们就用快速又简单的食谱做松软的华夫饼吧!我们下一回再尝试用酵母做华夫饼,好吗?
Unlike old-fashioned Belgian waffles that are made with yeast, these days we shall find that many bakeries make simple waffles with a pancake-like batter.
现今我们可以发现很多烘焙师都采纳简单食谱制作如热香饼般的面糊,他们不再使用旧式的酵母制作法来烘制比利时华夫松饼了。

The ingredients to prepare are 220 grams all purpose flour, 65 grams cornstarch, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 2 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 480ml milk, 160ml corn oil (Corn oil can be substituted for butter) , 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon vanila extract.
要准备的材料是 220克多用途普通面粉,65克玉蜀黍粉,1 茶匙发粉,1/2 茶匙泡打粉,2汤匙白糖,1茶匙盐巴,480毫米牛奶,160毫升玉蜀黍油(玉蜀黍油可以用牛油取代),2粒大鸡蛋和1茶匙云尼拉香精。
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all purpose flour,cornstarch and sugar.
在一个大容器内,搅拌多用途普通面粉、玉蜀黍粉和白糖。
Combine baking powder, baking soda and salt. Sifting dry ingredients together. Girls, sifting allows the flour to distribute more evenly during baking.
混合发粉,泡打粉和盐巴。过滤全部干粉,孩子,过滤的步骤可以让干粉在烘制前更加均匀。
Add the milk and whisk to combine.
加入牛奶然后搅拌均匀。
Separate the egg yolks and whites. Add the beaten yolks into the flour mixture and stir until batter is smooth.
把蛋白和蛋黄分开,在面糊里加入稍打过的蛋黄,轻轻搅拌至柔滑。

Pour in the corn oil ,vanila extract and gradually stir it through the mixture. Girls, do not over mix otherwise the waffles will come out dense.
倒入玉蜀黍油和云尼拉香精,然后轻轻地搅拌面糊。孩子,别搅拌过度,不然华夫松饼就会有硬度啊!
Lastly pour the well beaten egg whites.
最后倒入稍搅拌的蛋白。

Brush the waffle maker with butter.
在华芙饼机上刷上一层牛油。
Spread batter onto the waffle iron. Girls, another way to prevent mess is not to overfill.
在华芙饼机上倒入面糊。孩子,为了不要弄到一团糟,千万别倒入过多的面糊。
Pour the batter into the center of the waffle maker. Use a rubber spatula to spread it out.
面糊从华芙机的中间倒入,用塑料铲抹平面。
Bake in a waffle iron for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Carefully remove from waffle iron. 
在华芙饼机上烘5分钟或直到华芙饼变成金黄色为止。从华夫机上小心夹出华夫松饼。

Serve with your favorite waffle toppings.
摆设你喜爱的点缀品。

Girls, place the waffles on a plate and top with chocolate sauce and serve the bananas and ice cream. Do you agree that everything gets better with chocolate syrup?

Chocolate-Dipped Shortbread 苏格兰巧克力酥饼

The ingredients for these chocolate coated biscuits are 280 grams all-purpose flour , 2 grams salt, 230 grams butter, 60 grams icing sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
制作巧克力饼干的材料是 280克多用途面粉,2克盐,230克牛油,60克 糖粉和1茶匙云尼拉香精。
Girls, The secret to making good biscuits is to use a high quality butter like SCS, Golden Churn, Lurpak, President, Anchor and Devondale.
孩子,做一个好的饼干的秘诀就是用高品质的牛油如 SCS, Golden Churn, Lurpak, President, Anchor and Devondale.
Creaming butter and sugar is one of the most basic of biscuits. Add the icing sugar into butter. Use a wooden spoon to beat the butter and icing sugar in a circular motion until it is soft.
牛油和糖分的均匀混合是制作饼干的基础,把糖分倒入牛油里,再用木匙顺着时钟的方向搅拌至柔软。
Add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
倒入一茶匙云尼拉香精。
Sift the flour in a large mixing bowl and add a pinch of salt.
在过滤网过滤面粉,再加入盐。
  Fold in flour and mix gently until combined。
 把面粉加入容器,然后轻轻搅拌均匀。
Wrap dough in plastic wrap. Freeze or refrigerate until you are ready to use. 
用保鲜膜包裹面团,然后放进冰箱冷冻。
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least one hour or overnight. If the dough is very hard after chilling, allow it to soften for 15 minutes.
把面团放进冰箱里至少冷冻一小时或隔一晚,如果面团太硬,在室内摆放15分钟至柔软为止。
Girls, roll dough out to a flat shape and cut into your favorite shapes with cookie cutters.

Soybean Milk Longan Jelly 豆浆龙眼菜燕

In our hot tropical weather, making soyabean milk longan jelly hits the spot. Girls, this refreshing dessert is just right to cool off in the afternoon. It is as simple as it can be. Try out this recipe to to satisfy your sweet tooth.
马来西亚热带的气候,制作豆浆龙眼菜燕确实合我们的心意,孩子,它是炎热中午的解暑甜品,这甜品制作过程简易。你可以尝试以这食谱以满足你对甜食的喜爱。
Ingredients to prepare: 1 packet of Pearl Mermaid's Agar-Agar Powder, 1000ml soya milk, 2000ml water, 1 can of Carnation evaporated creamer,200g rock sugar or adjust according to your taste,1 can of longan.
准备的材料:美人鱼牌燕菜粉 一包, 1000毫升豆浆 ,2000毫升 清水,1罐康乃馨淡奶,200克冰糖或酌量 , 一个罐头龙眼。
Stir agar-agar powder into water until it completely dissolves. Grils, please take note that if the agar-agar powder is not totally melted, you will see unmelted lumps in the liquid.
把燕菜粉倒进水里搅拌至溶解。孩子,要记得如果菜燕粉没有完全溶解,你会发现有块状物浮在水面。
Boil water in a large pot. Girls, you can add pandan leaves for the fragrant. Then pour the evaporated milk into mixture and mix well.
把锅里的水煮至沸腾,孩子,如果你喜爱班兰叶的香味,可加入叶片。之后,倒入淡奶再搅拌好。
Slowly pour the soya milk into the mixture and stir till well combined.
慢慢地把豆浆倒入,再搅拌至均匀。

Add the amount of sugar you desire and bring the jelly mixture to a boil.
加入冰糖,依据你喜爱的甜度,让混合物沸腾。
Place 1-2 longan into each container.
在容器里放置一或两粒龙眼。
Ladle into individual serving container. Girls, If the mixture has a lot of bubbles, scoop the bubbles out before pouring to the container.
把豆浆菜燕倒进个别的容器里。如果混合物出现泡沫,请用汤匙轻轻地舀出。
Let it cool completely to room temperature.
让菜燕在室内温度凝结。
Once the jelly has set, scoop in 2 tablespoon of longan syrupy water.
当燕菜凝结后,舀入两大汤匙龙眼水。
Set in refrigerator. This dessert is best served chilled.
放进冰箱里,这道甜品最好冰凉食用。
