Pineapple tart 黄梨酥饼

Pineapple tarts a must-have Chinese New Year cookies in Malaysia. One of the dad and mom's favourite cookies is definitely pineapple tarts.
黄梨酥饼是农历新年不可缺席的饼干,爸爸妈妈最喜爱其中一种的饼干非黄梨饼莫属。


Girls, pineapple tarts are basically a cookie with a pineapple filling, in a buttery and crumbly pastry. Do you agree that Chinese New Year is not complete without pineapple tarts?
黄梨饼是包裹黄梨内陷,充满奶油香味的酥饼。孩子,你是否同意农历新年变得缺憾如果没有黄梨酥饼。
The ingredients are 330g all-purpose flour, 45g milk powder, 65g icing sugar, 23g custard powder, 230g butter, 30g egg yolk, two tablespoon cold water and one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
材料是330克多用途面粉,45克奶粉,65克糖粉,23克蛋黄粉,230克牛油,30克蛋黄液,两汤匙冷水和一茶匙云尼拿香精。
Girls, do not forget to add a pinch of salt.
孩子,别忘了放一撮的盐。

Cut the lemon into half and add in two tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice into the pineapple paste.
把柠檬切半再挤出二汤匙的新鲜柠檬汁,然后和黄梨馅混合。
Roll pineapple filling into small individual rounds. Each pineapple paste weighs 7g.
把黄梨馅揉成个别的圆形状,每个黄梨馅的重量为7克。
Sieve all purpose flour, milk powder, custard powder, one pinch of salt and icing sugar into a medium bowl. 
在一个中器皿里过滤多用途面粉、奶粉、蛋黄粉,一撮盐和细糖。

Butter ready to put into the sifted dry ingredients.
牛油准备放进过滤的干材料里。

Rub the butter into the flour using your fingertips. 
用手指的力把牛油揉进面团里。

Lastly add egg yolk, two tablespoon cold water and one teaspoon vanilla extract. Then form a dough.
最后加入蛋黄液、二汤匙冷水和一茶匙云尼拿香精,
然后形成面团。
Cover the dough tightly with plastic wrap. Place in refrigerator at least one hour.
面团用保鲜膜包裹然后放进冰箱里至少1小时。

Take out the dough from the fridge. Weigh each ball of dough with a digital scale. Each portion of dough weighs 11gram.
把面团从冰箱取出,用电子秤来量每个球状的面团,每份面团的重量为11克。

Place the pineapple filling in the center of each pastry.
把黄梨馅料放在皮层的中间。

Wrap it and shaped into a round ball.
把黄梨包裹在面团里成球状。

Prepare a heart-shaped cutter.
准备一个心型的模具。

Gently press the shape into the dough.
轻轻按心型模具在面团上。

Lovely heart shape on the dough.
面团上的美丽的心型模印。


Brush the unbaked rolls with a mixture of 1 teaspoon milk and 1 egg yolk.
在还没有烘好的黄梨酥饼刷上一个蛋黄和一茶匙牛奶的液体。

Preheat oven at 180°C. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
把烤炉烤热至180度,在烤炉里烘至20分钟或直到饼干褐金色为止。

When they are cooled, store the tarts in air-tight containers.
当黄梨酥饼冷却后,放进密封器具里。

Pineapple tart is the most representative snack of the festive Chinese New Year season.
黄梨塔是农历新年最代表性的饼干。

Girls, baking pineapple tarts is a very laborious affair and it needs alot of patience and time. Baking is an art. Take the time and effort and they come out great.
